Buy the book, cook from it, keep it forever. Don't resell it or hand out copies. The recipes are food, not medical advice, and the macro figures are careful estimates rather than lab results.
1. Who these terms are with
These terms govern your use of chuckyfuels.com and the digital products sold under the ChuckyFuels name, operated by Charles Heath, Boulder, Colorado, United States ("we", "us"). By using the site or buying a product, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site.
2. What you are buying
Every ChuckyFuels product is a digital PDF download. There is no physical product and nothing ships. Current products are LEAN 1000, LEAN 1000: Sauces, LEAN 1000: Snacks, and the free 25-recipe sampler.
Sauces and Snacks are extracts of LEAN 1000. The recipes in them are the same recipes already contained in the full collection. This is stated on those product pages and is not a defect.
3. Purchases, payment and refunds
All sales are processed by Gumroad, which is the merchant of record. Your purchase creates a contract with Gumroad for payment and delivery, and Gumroad's terms and refund policy apply to the transaction. The refund terms in effect for your order are the ones displayed at checkout.
Prices are in US dollars and may change at any time. A promotional price applies only while that promotion is live. Taxes are calculated and collected by Gumroad where required.
For a refund, a failed download, or a billing problem, contact Gumroad first, since they hold the transaction. If you cannot resolve it there, email charlesheathpro@gmail.com and we will help.
4. Your licence
When you buy or download a ChuckyFuels product, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for your own private, non-commercial cooking. You may print a copy for yourself and keep it on your own devices.
You may not:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the file, in whole or in part
- Upload it to a file-sharing service, forum, group chat, or public archive
- Reproduce substantial portions of it in a book, blog, app, course, or paid membership
- Use it, or content extracted from it, to train a machine learning model
- Remove or alter any branding, attribution, or notices inside it
Sharing an individual recipe with a friend is fine. Passing on the file is not.
5. Intellectual property
The recipes, text, photography, layout, and the ChuckyFuels name and branding are owned by us and protected by copyright and trademark law. Buying a product does not transfer ownership of anything, only the licence described above.
6. Nutrition information
Macro and calorie figures in ChuckyFuels products are recipe-development estimates, rounded to the nearest 5 calories and 1 gram. They are not laboratory-verified. Real values vary with brands, cuts, portioning, and cooking method. If you track closely, verify against the specific products you use.
7. Not medical or nutritional advice
ChuckyFuels publishes recipes. Nothing in these products or on this site is medical advice, dietary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nothing here should be relied on as a substitute for a qualified professional. We make no claims about weight loss, body composition, athletic performance, or any health outcome.
You are responsible for deciding whether a recipe is appropriate for you. Check every ingredient list against your own allergies, intolerances, medical conditions, and dietary requirements. Recipes may contain common allergens. If you have a health condition, are pregnant, or take medication, speak to a doctor or registered dietitian before changing how you eat.
8. Food safety
Cooking involves heat, sharp tools, and raw ingredients. Follow safe food handling practice, cook proteins to safe internal temperatures, and use your own judgement. We are not responsible for the outcome of anything cooked from these recipes.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the site and downloads available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any product or part of the site at any time. If a product you have already purchased is withdrawn, your existing download remains yours.
10. Third-party services
This site links to Gumroad, Instagram, and Pinterest. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, terms, or availability. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChuckyFuels and Charles Heath are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or the products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law, including statutory consumer rights.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
